Camron is seeking an Account Executive to join its team in NYC, working across a design and lifestyle portfolio. This role will work with an account team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment supporting client requests with attention to detail and a passion for the creative industries.
Account Executive is a key role in the team, supporting delivery of all aspects of client campaigns and projects. While there is still press liaison and request for products and/or visuals that need to be fulfilled, the difference is that the Account Executive will start to interface more with the client. The Account Executive starts becoming more accountable and involved in the day-to-day account management, contributing towards reports, research information and attending client meetings.
Account Executives will continue to strengthen skills like writing and media relations and pitching and will also be involved with organizing press events.

Responsibilities:
- Ownership of client administration, including call agendas, call notes and monthly reports
- Building and maintaining relevant media lists for clients, alongside the Camron media database
- Direct correspondence with clients, including delivery of reports and sharing media opportunities.
- Keeping up to date with media, including reading newspapers and digital outlets
- Writing press materials: media alerts, press releases and pitches
- Supporting the delivery of client events including drafting event briefs, guest lists, and delivering media coverage reports
- Keeping up to date with current affairs and trends that are relevant to clients.
- Organizing and attending, journalist briefings
Conducting competitive analysis and research
Experience & Skills:
- 1-2 years of experience in relevant areas of communications
- Media relationships in the design, culture and lifestyle categories
- Ability to be proactive and excel at working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong writing and editing skills to develop needed written assets on behalf of client roster
- Organized, detail-oriented, and a great communicator—both in person and online.
- Strong computer skills, including Mac and PC, Microsoft Office and G Suite

- Summer Hours in June, July and August
Company Wellness Day - Compensation for this role is based upon experience, qualifications, location, and education and typically ranges from $65,000 and $70,000
