Camron is seeking an Account Manager, based in London, to work across its architecture, design, culture, placemaking and real estate portfolio. This role, while based in London, will work with teams across London, New York and LA.

You will have experience, agency and/or in-house, in built environment communications, or an adjacent sector, with strong press contacts and a thorough understanding of the media landscape. The role will suit a candidate with outstanding attention to detail, strong speaking and written communication skills and an aptitude to working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team. This role requires a passionate, proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to continually develop.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of day-to-day client administration including team media tracking and supporting on key client documents such as drafting client reports and briefing documents
  • Working with to proactively pitch and confirm media placements, targeting more senior journalists
  • Strong understanding of international, national, digital and regional media
  • Ability to develop client and project-specific media lists
  • Playing a significant role in client and agency events
  • Research for existing clients and new business opportunities
  • Attending client meetings and managing reporting and follow-up
  • Contributing to client strategy plans
  • Keeping up to date with media trends and stories
  • Build and maintain Camron’s media database as well as advising junior team members on the system

Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in a relevant role
  • Excellent time management, organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and work across multiple clients
  • Aptitude to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Competence to work independently and to collaborate in a team environment
  • Ability to network internally and externally
  • Passion for all things media, social and digital, including magazines, newspapers, websites, podcasts and blogs
