Strategy Director at Camron is a unique position spanning brand strategy, digital, content and broader marketing. The Strategy Director is adept at crafting brand strategies, writing comms plans and consulting on social/digital best practice. An integrated strategist to further bolster Camron’s creative and strategic offering.
As Camron continues to grow in North America, it is imperative that the candidate has an entrepreneurial mindset, flexible skill set, and agile approach.
This role offers real breadth; working with leading luxury designers on brand advisement, boutique scale-ups on growth plans, global architects on brand strategy and premium consumer brands on integrated creative campaigns and digital. A mixture of local and global. B2C and B2B.
Whilst there are set clients and projects to be working on, the right candidate will be helping to grow our brand and social offering in North America.
The ideal candidate will be expected to hone their brand strategy, communications, and marketing craft reporting into Camron’s Global Head of Strategy, based in London. This role will be seen as the go-to expert, leading projects in North America.
The Strategy Director will be supporting on large scale pitches and running several of their own, too. Beyond the day-to-day, the role will also play a supporting role in Camron’s proprietary thought-leadership IP; The Power of Design - providing Insight, Intelligence and Inspiration from the world’s most influential design events.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and Supporting Brand Strategy projects
- Leading client research projects: from qualitative In Depth Interviews to quantitative surveys, desk research and audits.
- Writing Comms Plans for digital and brand campaigns
- Developing messaging and structures for global brands
- Running client workshops
- Working with external studios, CDs and designers to deliver new Visual Identities and Brand Campaigns
- Leading New Business pitches; from writing the scope of work to delivering the presentation
- Supporting on high-profile, large-scale global pitches
- Upskilling and supporting other members of the team in strategic processes
- Development of our talented interns.
Experience & Skills:
- 9+ years experience
- Integrated Agency Experience
- Confident, capable and trained in Brand Strategy, Comms Planning and Creative Briefing
- A strong presenter; able to tell stories through presentations and engage a room of clients
- Great at moderating and engaging a workshop
- Adept in research and insight mining, leading to greater, more impactful work
- Competent in demonstrating effectiveness
- Confident in having up-stream, broader marketing conversations with senior clients and founders.
- Ideal: Luxury and/or Premium Brand experience (even better if in the design space).
- Ideal: A mixture of B2B and B2C experience.
