Camron launched Sainsbury’s Spring/Summer 2017 Home and Lifestyle collection at One Belgravia on 23rd November 2016 in the style of a British Summertime festival – without the mud! The six new design themes – Shore, Restoration, Hinterland, Ethereal, Butterfly House and Summer Solstice were displayed in decorative tents to continue the festival look. Press were introduced to the Sainsbury’s in-house design and buying teams who talked through the key products for home and outdoor collections that will launch next summer.
The playful, summery design of Summer Solstice transformed a part of the show and to continue the festival theme florists Rebel Rebel were on hand to help guests create beautiful floral crowns. Visitors captured the show on social media with #sainsburysfestival and were able to print images from our #HASHTAG machine that was customised for the event.
Another key design theme for Spring / Summer is Shore, encapsulating the British coastline in summer, drinks and canapés were served from the Shore Bar as well as circulated to guests from One Events. Classic summer time flavours were served including fish and chips and jam and scones, and all the food included fresh ingredients from Sainsbury’s very own Taste the Difference range.
