INTRODUCING THE CAMRON MILAN GUIDE 2024DOWNLOAD NOW

One of the hottest tickets in Milan during this year’s Salone was an exclusive and very theatrical dinner party held in the windows of Spazio Pontaccio, a design showroom in the Brera district specialising in contemporary furniture. The guests, comprising designers, partners and key press in the design world were invited to sample the food of Matias Perdomo, one of Milan’s top chefs, renowned for his highly experimental cooking.  A stunning glass table was set with exclusive and limited edition porcelain, crystal and gold cutlery by designers including Lee Broom, Federico Pepe and Alessandro Zambelli.  Outside, passers-by observed guests, including Ron Gilad, Patricia Urquiola, Jay Osgerby, Michael Anastassiades and Jasper Conran sampling some of Perdomo’s signature dishes, such as Fish and Chips Brittle,  Golden Sardine and Lego dessert. After the dinner, the table was recreated and will remain on view in the windows for the rest of the month while the tableware and accessories will be available to buy from a pop up shop within the showroom.
