Positioning Habitat as the go-to home and furniture destination on the British high street
Since 1964, Habitat has been creating original designs for the modern home at affordable prices and is now one of the UK’s market leaders within the high streets homes and interiors sector.
Camron worked with Habitat to communicate and support its transition to become the lead brand for the home and furniture business selling through Sainsbury’s and Argos. Through a communications strategy spanning advisory, media relations, development of creative assets and activations, Habitat was positioned as an inspiring brand with its new affordability and design messages firmly placed amongst the media.
Ahead of the transition, Camron worked closely with the design and buying teams to develop key messaging and run media training with the senior spokespeople resulting in extensive media coverage that maintained a positive sentiment in titles such as The Sunday Times, Daily Mail; YOU Magazine, Stylist, The Telegraph and Independent.
As well as continuing to lead a proactive press office and manage creative and seasonal campaigns, Camron has established Habitat’s media events programme, kicking off with a brand re-launch followed by a trends forecast in partnership with TikTok.
