Communications Strategy

Since 1964, Habitat has been creating original designs for the modern home at affordable prices and is now one of the UK’s market leaders within the high street homes and interiors sector. Habitat’s momentous 60th Anniversary collection saw us develop a storytelling-driven communications strategy, enhanced by a targeted digital campaign to boost both earned and owned media.

To mark the anniversary, we designed a collaboration with entertainment personalities Andi and Miquita Oliver to develop three unique recipes showcasing the versatility of Habitat’s iconic Chicken Brick and position it as the must-have hosting centrepiece. The activation included the creation of short-form videos and imagery for social channels, an intimate hosted VIP and influencer dinner with Andi and Miquita, and sponsorship of an episode of their ‘Stirring it Up’ podcast.

This combination of activations, partnerships and content delivery - underscored with a proactive media campaign - resulted in more than 100 features and a reach of over 600 million, covered in the likes of Wallpaper*, Monocle, Daily Mail and the Sunday Times. This catalysing coverage drove instant sales and web traffic spikes for the pivotal anniversary campaign.
Our ongoing aim is to emphasise the brand’s design-led accessible offering, sustaining media engagement following the 60th anniversary, and reaching home-lovers through storytelling and impactful PR campaigns.

We operate a driven press office function that underpins the brand's launches and collaborations through key messaging, spokesperson profiling, thoughtful activations and creative partnerships. Our role incorporates the development of PR collateral and visual assets to secure broad media coverage and align with marketing and social initiatives, with the overarching goal of amplifying Habitat's design team and collaborators.

Further successful launches from the British brand include Habitat x Morris & Co, Habitat x National Trust, and Habitat x Scion, where Camron secured widespread coverage in a variety of lifestyle, interiors and design publications such as The Guardian, YOU Magazine and Sunday Times.
