In celebration of 40 years since the international breakthrough of The Antwerp Six, MoMu - Fashion Museum Antwerp, hosts the first-ever authorised exhibition storying the rise and enduring influence of the six pioneering designers - Dirk Bikkembergs, Ann Demeulemeester, Walter Van Beirendonck, Dries Van Noten, Dirk Van Saene, and Marina Yee.

The exhibition explores both the shared origins and distinct creative trajectories of the Six. Developed in close collaboration with each designer, their archival teams, and co-curated by Geert Bruloot - widely credited with uniting the designers ahead of their now-legendary trip to the 1986 British Designer Show - the exhibition brings to life the true story of these independent voices that collectively shaped the global fashion landscape whilst firmly positioning Antwerp as a fashion capital.

In our role as MoMu and the City of Antwerp’s strategic PR partner, our primary goal was to amplify the exhibition opening through an international communications campaign, whilst also reinforcing Antwerp’s status as a leading epicentre for fashion.

At the heart of the campaign was an international media trip over the opening weekend, delivering feature-led stories from attending titles including i-D, AnOther, Dazed, Forbes, Harper’s Bazaar, and more. This was complemented by a series of in-depth features and curator-led interviews from the likes of The Financial Times, The New York Times, Monocle and Hypebeast, amongst others.
