Taroni Laboratorio and Lillian Grant set silk apart
Master silk weaving brand Taroni is an ever-evolving platform for research and experimentation. The craft spans generations, and with Taroni Laboratorio, the team is constantly learning by “transforming the small excess materials that inevitably remain from production into new creative explorations”. The results will be on view in The Inherent Nature of Things, an installation and circular economy project that will be during design week.
We speak to Maximilian Canepa, CEO of Taroni, and artist Lillian Grant about the intricate world of silk.
