November 2018 – VOICES is The Business of Fashion’s annual invitation-only gathering for big thinkers, entrepreneurs and inspiring people who are shaping the wider world. Held at Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire, VOICES offered guests a series of provocative and inspiring talks, interactive discussions, and unforgettable activities. VOICES was created to spark new ideas and solve real-world challenges by connecting fashion leaders and entrepreneurs with visionaries from a range of fields and industries.

VOICES 2018’s diverse line-up included speakers from the worlds of tech, politics, activism, business and wellness, exemplifying BoF’s expansion beyond fashion. Highlights from the talks included an explosive talk by activist and Cambridge Analytica whistle-blower Christopher Wylie, Stella McCartney’s announcement of a charter with the UN to urge the fashion industry to fight climate change, activist Shahmir Sanni in conversation with fashion designer Katharine Hamnett and model Adut Akech on her experiences as a Sudanese refugee and increasing diversity in fashion.
