On Monday, the MoMA Design Store unveiled the first HAY Mini Market in the US. Camron hosted a press preview with Hay founder Mette Hay and MoMA Merchandising Director Emmanuel Plat before eager MoMA customers filled the space and shopped the 230 unique products. While filling their baskets with HAY pieces, guests munched on popcorn and sipped Karlsberg pilsner in the festive, colorful setting.

HAY, founded in 2002 by Rolf and Mette Hay and Troels Holch Povlsen, has received a cult following for its ambitious commitment to offer good Danish design at accessible price points. The opening celebration did not disappoint!

HAY combines architecture and fashion with innovative and cutting edge technology. Through collaborations with Scholten & Baijings, Inge Sempé, Stefan Diez, Shane Schneck and Nathalie Du Pasquier – all featured for the first time in the MoMA Design Store – HAY strives to provide a platform for the most talented international designers.

The HAY Mini Market is an accessory in-store concept offering a wide selection of products including lighting, textiles, stationery, and glassware from the HAY and Wrong for Hay collections. Aisles of New Order shelving are laden with selected merchandise curated and handpicked by Mette Hay specifically for the MoMA Design Store.

HAY Mini Market will be in the MoMA Design Store Soho (81 Spring Street) until January 2016 with select items available online at www.MoMAstore.org.
