Last week saw the launch of the innovative New Wave Collective, an exciting collaboration between the UK’s largest wallpaper company, Graham & Brown, and thirteen of Britain’s best up-and-coming surface pattern talent. Curated by design journalist and passionate supporter of emerging talent, Barbara Chandler, the project enabled the selected designers to express their individual styles, generating sixteen diverse and stunning designs.  With the designers specialising in a variety of fields including textiles, illustration and fashion, the wallpaper creations range from story-telling to street art to floral patterns. Hosted at Citizen M Bankside, the launch event showcased a striking backdrop of each wallpaper design and enabled the individuals to discuss the inspirations and insights into their designs. This unique collaboration celebrates organic British talent, a concept that has always been at the heart of Graham & Brown’s ethos and offers high-end design at high street prices.
