One&Only One Za’abeel celebrated its grand opening with a star-studded three-day event in Dubai. Global celebrities and tastemakers came together to mark the launch of One&Only’s first vertical urban resort. Highlights included Jennifer Lopez and Mark Ronson’s captivating impromptu performance in The Link, Idris Elba’s electrifying DJ set at Sphere, and Nancy Ajram’s soulful session at Tapasake atop the worlds longest cantilever.

Throughout the weekend, A-list guests including Naomi Campbell, Vincent Cassel, Vanessa Hudgens, Isabelle Huppert, Kiara Alia Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, Malaika Arora, Emma Raducanu, David Gandy, Angela Baby, Raya Abirached and Belen Rodriguez enjoyed tantalising dining experiences from One&Only’s team of Michelin-lauded chefs, a sun-kissed Rose Brunch at Tapasake Pool Club, and pampering wellness and beauty treatments from CLINIQUE LA PRAIRIE and Charlotte Tilbury Beauty.

As global communications agency of record for One&Only, Camron conceived, led and delivered the communications and talent strategy for the Grand Opening of One&Only One Za’abeel.

This comprehensive global remit encapsulated an entertainment and celebrity acquisition strategy with direct ownership and delivery of headline talent and influencers including the surprise performance by Jennifer Lopez.

As global mother agency, we led coordination and oversight of 10 markets and local agencies engaged to deliver the earned press campaign, including the execution of a dedicated campaign on the building’s architectural story, securing talent attendance, hosting VIPs and media, and owning the content strategy delivered in partnership with Getty.

Highlights included:

  • Securing the global broadcast entertainment exclusive with Entertainment Tonight (US)
  • Delivering an international architecture press campaign in advance of One&Only’s first vertical urban resort launch, with coverage secured in CNN Style, Dezeen, Interni, designboom, Architectural Digest, Architectural Record, Hypebeast, DOMUS and Detail.
  • Achieving 2bn+ social impressions within 48hrs following the launch.
