A snapshot of key brand, communication, and cultural insights from Milan Design Week.
This October, LA and East Hampton-based Scandinavian design platform Austere brought Biomega’s latest electric bike – OKO – to the US market. OKO was designed by KiBiSi, a partnership between Biomega founder Jens Martin Skibsted, Bjarke Ingels of Bjarke Ingels Group and Lars Larsen of kilo Design. Austere launched the pedelec with a Scandinavian themed picnic-style dinner in New York City.
The Biomega OKO was created for the global urban commuter, having been carefully designed specifically for the navigating through city life. Available exclusively in the US through Austere, the OKO is a uniquely lightweight and highly practical city pedelec with a fashionable twist.
