Reimagining an icon for new generation
The Whiteley will provide world-class residences, new stores and restaurants, a cinema, a large-scale gym, a high profile public arts programme and London’s flagship Six Senses hotel and spa, all set behind a retained and restored Grade II-listed facade.
Working alongside all project stakeholders, including investors MARK and C C Land, development manager Finchatton, and architects Foster + Partners, Camron was instructed to define a distinct narrative, drive awareness for the development and surrounding area and ultimately generate residential and consumer interest in one of London’s biggest redevelopment projects.
Overseeing the communications for the redevelopment of The Whiteley, from initial announcements through to sales launch, Camron implemented a media and influencer strategy to shape the proposition through partnerships and introductions with high-profile brands and VIPs. Seeding features to highlight the changing face of Bayswater, London with The Whiteley as its heart was instrumental ahead of the grand reimagining of the 1.1bn sqft former Whiteleys shopping centre.
